Great for the money
What you can hear through the Prestige Clear Sound Stethoscope-Smiley is just as good as the Littman I compared it to on the same client(sorry, can't remember which Littman-I know it was one of the cheaper models though). The only thing you don't get with this is the ability to hear FOCUSED heart sounds with the smaller bell which comes on the Littman model I listened through. Working in a nursing home/rehab setting I am not in need of the ability to hear those focused heart sounds therefore this is a great stethoscope for me personally. If you are looking for the abiltiy to hear crisp lung sounds and clear, basic heart sounds it's a steal. If I specialized in cardiac nursing or another field where I needed to hear specific areas of the heart I would spring for a more expensive Littman. |
