OK for some
Not bad if you wear a shirt that you can tuck in. If you wear untucked scrub tops (especially the long ones with tons of pockets) it can be a bit of a pain to constantly have to lift up your scrub top to access your stethescope, and then lift it again to hang your stethescope when you get done. |

As a recent graduate of a nursing program. You were NOT allowed to have your stethoscope around your neck. You were required to keep it in the pocket of your nursing uniform. This works great!!! Also helps with neck tension from the weight being off your neck. |

I agree this is excellent for when you work in a slow paced environment and whoever said wearing the stethoscope around the neck its a sign of a student is wrong! It's actually easier to have it around my neck because it's faster to have access to in case of an emergency. Every doctor and nurse that I know wears his/her sthetoscope around their neck. |

THIS HOLDER IS WONDERFUL. IT KEEPS THE
STETHOSCOPE IN THE CORRECT POSITION..
WHEREAS BEFORE WHEN WEARING AROUND THE
NECK AND BENDING OVER EACH PATIENT WHERE
THEY WOULD COUGH ON IT AND SPREAD GERMS.
IT IS ALSO LESS LIKELY TO BE LEFT ON THE
UNIT WHICH HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST AND OFTEN
GETS LOST. SOMEONE SAID WEARING THE STETHOSCOPE
AROUND ONE'S NECK IS A SIGN OF A STUDENT.
